Week 6

This was a week in which I really wanted to win the match-up for my fantasy team because I was matched up against my best friend.  Unfortunately, my receivers didn't agree with this and all three of them did terribly (less than five points total amongst the three.  It gets so frustrating.  On the other hand, the 49ers actually won their first game!  I'm not getting my hopes up yet or getting excited yet because it was the first win of the season, they are 1-5, the team they beat was the Raiders, one of the worst in the league, and it was a sloppy win.  But, I had a collective sigh of relief that at least they won.  I have my doubts for the staffing of the team, but I will save that for next week and see how they do against the Panthers this upcoming week.

In my opinion though, they should go to the spread and stop trying to power run the ball because it obviously ISN'T working.

Week 5

Things are looking grim for the 49ers.  They are now 0-5 after being expected to be at lease 3-2 at this point.  They are in the weakest division in the NFL and practically had the playoffs given to them.  I'm not giving up yet, because it is still possible for them to make the playoffs, however unlikely.  For fantasy, I have modified the team a little bit due to a lack of performance.  Matt Bryant is now my kicker instead of Joe Nedney.  Berrian has to be dropped and I haven't yet found someone to replace him.  In addition, I dropped James Jones and picked up the Houston Defense.  I won last week by a landslide, making me now 2-3, which is still at the bottom of my division, but better than 0-5 ;D

Looking forward to next week.  I believe the 49ers can dominate over the Raiders.  Here's hoping!

Week 4

I finally won a match-up!  After doing some math, before this week I was number 4 of 16 for points earned in the league.  That means with me being 0-3, I was having people whose teams would have a great week against me.  For the number of points AGAINST my team, I was 1 out of 16, which proves my theory.  I had a good team, but people were getting lucky against me.  After this past week, I am now number 3 overall for points done and the number of points against me has dropped down to number 2 overall.

On the bad note, the 49ers still lost, again.  I have faith in the team still, but it's hard to come back from a 0-4 streak at the beginning of the season.  In my honest opinion, we have only legitimately lost 1 of the 4 games, the other 3 we gave away.

Here's hoping for next week!
